Students can take different tests (Kyu) depending on their level.

EIKEN is divided into two parts.

1KYU: Part of the Speaking Test involves a topic card with questions about controversial topics.

2YU: The test-taker reads a passage for 20 seconds. They are then asked four questions relating to this passage.
